Opossum Opposites, my first book, released in February 2020 in English, French, and Spanish.

My second book, Mama Opossum’s Misadventures is available in French and English and released in September 2020. Opossums to the Rescue, the third book in the series, is also available now in English and French.

Cats and Dogs Make the Best of Friends released in February 2021 and I Don’t Want to Be Scary on Halloween released in September 2021. A French version is forthcoming.

I am always booking school visits and readings!

I would be thrilled to visit your school or classroom, either in person or via Skype/Messenger/Google, to read my book and talk with your students. Our conversation can cover a wide range of topics that can be tailored to each teacher or school’s needs and desires.

Some of the topics for discussion I can address with students include:

• opossums, nocturnal animals in general – perfect for younger students
• the environment and opossums’ role in the natural world
• empathy & compassion for those (people and animals) we don’t quite understand – yet
• creativity, the writing process, the process of writing and publishing a book, how to tackle a HUGE project one day at a time and stay motivated
• starting and running a small business

As an educator myself, I am comfortable with groups of all sizes. Because I was a French professor in my previous life, I am also able to offer author visits in French as well as in English. While my book is also available in Spanish, my spoken Spanish is very limited. I am working on that.

I am happy to visit Montessori schools, pre-schools, daycares, and elementary schools. If your group does not quite fit into one of these categories – contact me to see what we can come up with.
